We do not want the widget to open automatically. Is it possible to have a message appear in a live chat when somebody clicks on the widget?

Answer

This is possible with the combination of custom code and a trigger:

1. Use thefunction onShow(callback) commandto detect when the widget window has been opened.
2. Useanother Javascript command to add a tag.
3. Create a chat trigger that fires based on the presence of the tag, and make sure that thetrigger only fires once per visitor.
