We're using the image component to both add branding to our dashboards as well as add custom information that helps the viewer understand what they're seeing. (When the text component isn't enough, like adding shapes or team-related images.

Additionally, it would be interesting to have an Explore Image Library to be reused among different dashboards instead of having to upload them for every new Image component.

The image component is being used in every large dashboard.

Its impact would be a 4 out of 5 unless easy, reliable labeling & branding alternatives would be provided.

Agree with Rafael. Our use-case is the same. We use image component for branding across all custom dashboards (no matter of the dashboard size)

    Same as Rafael and Anastasia.

Our use case is a little different. The customer wants to use Zendesk for their area managers to complete a branch checklist, along with photos of any issues. Since an Explore report cannot include images uploaded into a ticket, we were hoping that a dashboard would allow us that option.

    什么好主意吗?

    Hi There!

It's possible to add an image in the dashboard, you can click on the "add+" button located on the top left side of the dashboard then click on "add image"

    HiMike dela Rosa,
    thanks for your help.

It seems you are referring to the classic builder where the image component is available.
The aim of this post is to gather interest on how customers are currently using the image component so we can prioritize it accordingly for the new beta builder.

    Regards,
    Walter

We use it for branding as well. It would negatively impact us if the image component is not available.

We use images or shapes to display flow charts with data overlay. Like that:

We use images lots in our dashboards - we have staff performance dashboards with agent photos. The top performing agents each week get little crowns (for productivity) and halos (for CSAT) added above their photos (we used to literally place them over the photo in the GoodData days so it looked like they were wearing them, but that's a separate moan). Would be VERY sad to lose this functionality.

I'm a Zendesk Partner and I use an image or at least a company logo on each dashboard I build for customers. Most of the time I'm building dashboards for stakeholders to view so they need to look good and engaging. Images certainly help with being able to achieve this.

PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS AWAY! I BEG OF YOU.

It's required for branding purpose as well as look and feel of the dashboard. Dashboard is all about providing information or telling your story in a pictorial manner, hence I think Image plays an important role. By taking away this feature this will downgrade this new feature instead of upgrading. I would request to keep it.

    Thanks,

    Rashmita
